Clarke Atkins, DVM, is Professor of Medicine and Cardiology at North Carolina State University. Graduating from the University of California, Davis, in 1972, he became board-certified by the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine in internal medicine in 1978 and in cardiology in 1992.
